Software Implementation Consultant (Junior)
We are looking for a junior consultant to join our Implementation Business Unit. The job will involve both office based work in Brighton (especially the first 6-9 months) and frequent travel to customers sites around the UK and occasional visits to our corporate headquarters in the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities
Working as a part of a project team, the implementation consultant will deliver billable consultancy services to our clients related to the initial implementation of our solution with new customers and also in supporting existing customers as they extend the use of our systems within their operations. The consultant’s primary focus will be on system configuration, data migration, and configured solution training delivery.
Full training in the Planon FM software applications will be provided. Whilst knowledge and experience in facilities management and real-estate services would be useful it is not a pre-requisite.
Required experience / Key Competences

You will possess a good blend of client facing skills & technical aptitude to analyse requirements, deploy, implement & integrate the Planon software solution in to our customers IT environments and business.
- Excellent verbal-presentation and written communication skills.
- Good general IT knowledge. (IT Degree level Qualification or Advanced level as a minimum)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Prince2 or similar.
- Competent user of MS office suite applications.
- Basic working knowledge of database principles and SQL language.
- Prior Software-solutions implementation experience e.g. CAFM, ERP, Finance, and HR is advantageous
- Proven competence in report design using a recognised software tool. (such as Crystal, Cognos, Business Objects or similar)
- Industrious, willingness to work to deadlines.
- Team player; duty to others.
- Demonstrates stability; reliability, continuity.
- Self-reliant, confident, decisive.
- Willing to travel UK-wide and occasionally internationally.
- Ideally within a maximum 60 minutes travelling time to Brighton.

The salary range will be between £22 – 30k based on age and experience. Planon also offers an attractive benefits package, providing a good work-life balance.
