Seeing each problem through
"We started with Planon about four years ago. We were running the Technical Services helpdesk using a programme that we had developed in-house and had essentially outgrown it. When Planon came into the picture at just the right time, it met our requirements and we went ahead with it. We use the Work Orders, Helpdesk, Address Management, Personnel Management and Space Management modules. Inventory Management was added later on. Every technical problem in any of our supermarkets (123 branches) or DIY shops (100 branches) or Cityshops (10) reaches the central helpdesk. We have three people working there full time to initiate the resolution of these problems. A supplier only gets a completion number from us once the problem really has been solved. Until then, it can’t be invoiced."
